Because sometimes, simple really is best. This jasmine vine was looking too good.
When one of you favorite wedding planners, who happens to also be one of your new favorite people, asks for a centerpiece, you just say YES. Jessica Hearing of A Vintage Affair is a gem and has such an eye for design and style, making her a perfect fit for Colorado brides. And she is now booking for 2016! Emily Sacco is a new-to-Colorado photographer and I couldn't love these images she capture any more than I do. Take a moment to check the work of these two talented ladies (and then try to tell me Colorado isn't just full of the best people).
Collaborating on this shoot with Ashley Sawtelle and Liz Wegryzn was a complete dream. The vision came together effortlessly and the rocky, natural stone at Cherokee Ranch and Castle was the perfect backdrop to balance out this antique color palette and soft, romantic feel. Our gorgeous model, Sarah, made everything look so effortless. The entire shoot was featured on Magnolia Rouge, so feel free to click through and take a look. xoxo
Making this arch alongside Sarah and then designing this bridal bouquet were definitely highlights of my one-on-one session with her. I have found that this loose, delicate style is what my heart gravitates toward and I just feel in my element (cliche, I know!) when I get to let flowers do their wild thing. The final result is so feminine, romantic and textural. Just as flowers should be.

My first day with Sarah continued with a full tablescape design. I don't know that I can say any one arrangement was my favorite with absolute certainty, but I am so happy with this one. This palette was a complete dream and the product was just amazing. Hellebores all day every day, please.
Earlier this month I had the beautiful opportunity to spend two days at a one-on-one session with the effortlessly talented Sarah Winward. Seriously, effortlessly talented. I really wanted to focus on developing my own style this year and helping my little business grow and I knew she was JUST the mentor I need. Sarah is honestly one of my greatest inspirations and I am so grateful to have spent some quality time with her. She could not be any more down to earth or kind. Thank you for answering my endless list of questions and inspiring me to keep creating. I'm not really sure my words are eloquent enough to express all I have learned and felt! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
And now, enjoy all the goodies from a larger centerpiece I created on day one. These poppies were BLOWIN MY MIND. And a huge thank you to Kate Osborne for sharing her photography talent and capturing all of these images. FILM AND FLOWERS FOREVER.
